Are you ready to power the cloud services that billions rely on? MICROSOFT's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team is looking for a passionate Field Service Engineer to join our critical environment operations.



What You'll Do:



  • Ensure maximum uptime for our leased datacenters 🏢

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of mechanical and electrical equipment

  • Reduce critical environment incidents year over year

  • Collaborate with engineering groups and landlord partners

  • Participate in emergency preparedness and response plans



What You'll Need:



  • High school diploma plus 2+ years of datacenter experience OR

  • 3+ years industry experience with some college coursework

  • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check



Nice to Have:



  • 3+ years in critical environment infrastructures

  • Bachelor's degree or technical certification in mechanical/electrical engineering

  • Experience with IT infrastructure operations
