Hey there, automotive enthusiast! Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of vehicle compliance and certification? We've got just the role for you at BYD Australia & New Zealand!



What's the gig about?


As our Vehicle Homologation Engineer, you'll be the superhero ensuring our vehicles meet all the Australian regulations and standards. You'll be working with the Australian Design Rules (ADR) and making sure our cars are road-ready and compliant.



Your day-to-day adventures:



  • Leading certification processes for vehicles and accessories

  • Overseeing ANCAP crash testing (sounds exciting, right?)

  • Chatting with regulatory authorities to get those all-important approvals

  • Keeping up with the latest industry standards and legislation

  • Collaborating with various teams to tackle compliance challenges



What we're looking for:



  • A degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or something similar)

  • Experience in vehicle homologation or compliance

  • Familiarity with ADRs and Australian vehicle laws

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Great communication skills (you'll be our go-to expert, after all!)



Bonus points if you speak Chinese!
