Job Description

Join Our Exciting Trainee Engineer Program at SSEN TRANSMISSION! 🔧⚡



Hey there, future power engineer! Are you ready to kickstart your career in the exciting world of energy transmission? We've got just the opportunity for you!



What's the deal?



  • Duration: 3-year program

  • Study: HNC and Diploma in Higher Education in Energy Engineering

  • Hands-on experience: Work placements in various Transmission departments

  • Cool stuff you'll learn: Low Voltage and High Voltage Switching, Network operations, and more!



What we're looking for:



  • Self-motivated and organized individuals

  • Team players who can also work independently

  • Flexibility to travel and live away from home occasionally

  • Full UK Driver's License (or in the process of getting one)



Qualifications needed:



  • 1 Scottish Higher (grade C+) in Maths or Physics, OR

  • 1 A level (grade D+) in Maths or Physics, OR

  • NC/NQ Engineering at SCQF level 6 or equivalent, OR

  • Completed Foundation Apprenticeship in Engineering



Note: If you already have a HNC, HND, or DipHE in Energy Engineering or related degree, this program isn't for you.
