Anxious kids need a soft landing, not another place that feels off. Our daughter went through a rough patch last year, and the first church we tried here made her cling to us the whole time. A mom at her school mentioned best church in Prescott AZ , so we went one Sunday. The kids' leader came over and asked how she was doing, then let her sit with us until she was ready to join. By the third week she was running ahead to her class. We also met a couple of parents who were dealing with similar stuff, and that helped more than we expected.
