Job Description

Hey there, audio enthusiasts! 🎸



BLACKSTAR AMPLIFICATION is on the lookout for some awesome Audio Electronics Engineers to join our cool team in Northampton, England! 🇬🇧



What's the gig about?


We're a bunch of musicians who are crazy about creating amazing audio gear. If you're passionate about designing innovative amplification products that blow players' minds, you'll fit right in!



What you'll be doing:



  • Designing and tweaking electronic schematics

  • Building and testing prototypes

  • Sourcing components for our creations

  • Coming up with new product ideas

  • Chatting with our teams around the world



What we're looking for:



  • A degree in electronics or something similar

  • 2+ years of experience in electronic design (audio is a big plus!)

  • Knowledge of ADC/DAC, op-amps, and all that good stuff

  • Experience with microcontrollers and DSPs

  • PCB layout skills



Bonus points if you:



  • Know your way around Altium design software

  • Understand EMC considerations

  • Have experience with Audio Precision test equipment

  • Can help coordinate projects from start to finish
