Job Description

Join Our Exciting Data Science Team in Dublin! 🧬🔬



Hey there, data enthusiast! We're on the lookout for a talented Data Scientist to join our multinational pharmaceutical client's team in Dublin. This is your chance to make a real impact in the world of animal health and genetics!



What You'll Be Doing:



  • Crunching numbers and uncovering insights: You'll be applying your mad skills in statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze time series and genomic data. Your findings will drive decision-making and innovative product development in the dairy and beef industry. How cool is that?

  • Collaborating with the best: You'll be working closely with product managers, fellow data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to develop cutting-edge data science products. Your expertise in mathematics and statistics will be key in optimizing product performance and value.



What We're Looking For:



  • Experience: 2-5 years in data science (experience in the ruminant livestock industry is a big plus!)

  • Tech skills: Proficiency in Python or R, strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques

  • Domain knowledge: Familiarity with livestock agriculture or aquaculture would be awesome

  • Passion: A genuine interest in using data to improve animal health and welfare



The Perks:



  • Flexible work arrangement: 1 day onsite, 4 days remote per week

  • Travel opportunities: Occasional trips to EU, Israel, and US

  • Contract duration: Initial 11-month contract with potential to extend
