Join the KARE Team as a Social Care Assistant! 🌟



Hey there! Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? KARE is looking for caring individuals like you to join our team as Social Care Assistants in County Kildare, Ireland.



What You'll Do:



  • Help assess needs and create support plans for adults with intellectual disabilities

  • Assist with daily activities, meal prep, and personal care

  • Support individuals in achieving their goals and living their best lives

  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment

  • Communicate with families and healthcare professionals

  • Drive KARE vehicles to support service users



What You'll Need:



  • QQI Level 5 qualification in Intellectual Disability Practice, Social Care, or Community Support

  • Full, clean, manual Irish driving license

  • Understanding of person-centered planning, advocacy, and safeguarding

  • Experience with positive behavior support

  • Great communication and teamwork skills

  • Basic IT skills for admin tasks
