Job Description

Join Our Underground Communications Team! 🌟



Hey there! We're looking for a fantastic Underground Communications Technician to join our awesome team at a top-tier mining company. This is a 6-month contract with a sweet 8/6 FIFO roster. 🏔️



What You'll Be Doing:



  • Installing and maintaining underground communication systems

  • Troubleshooting radio and Wi-Fi equipment

  • Providing support for Tetra Digital UHF Radio systems

  • Ensuring reliable wireless communications across the mine

  • Analyzing equipment failures and recommending improvements



What We're Looking For:



  • Experience in communication/systems roles

  • Proficiency in computer skills

  • Familiarity with Fleet Management systems

  • Underground communication experience (DAS, Leaky feeder)

  • ACMA Open Cabling ticket with endorsements
