Job Description

Hey there! 👋 Looking for an exciting opportunity in test engineering?



CUBIC CORPORATION is on the hunt for a Senior Test Engineer to join their team in Wellington, New Zealand! 🇳🇿



What's the gig about?


In a nutshell, you'll be the go-to person for developing test plans, writing procedures, and making sure our systems are top-notch. You'll work closely with the design and management teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.



Here's what you'll be doing:



  • Leading the charge on automated test equipment development

  • Collaborating with management on test concepts and objectives

  • Providing input on design processes to make sure test requirements are met

  • Preparing detailed test plans and coordinating with various teams

  • Supporting production testing and resolving technical issues

  • Conducting acceptance testing with customers, both at Cubic sites and abroad



What you'll need:



  • A degree in electronic engineering, computer science, or a related field

  • At least 5 years of experience in test methodology for electronic equipment

  • Proficiency in MS Office and IT-based tools

  • Knowledge of software interfaces and hexadecimal message structures



Bonus points if you have knowledge of EMC and environmental testing!
