Job Description

Hey there, tech enthusiast! 👋



Are you ready for an exciting opportunity with TETRA PAK? We're on the hunt for a rockstar Senior Automation Engineer to join our team in Auckland! 🚀



What's the gig about?


You'll be the automation wizard in our Macro Automation office, focusing on the dairy and beverage industries. We're talking cutting-edge solutions that'll make our customers go 'Wow!'



Your day-to-day adventures:



  • Develop cool automation solutions (solo and team player mode)

  • Flex your technical muscles in development and support

  • Design and quote automation projects like a boss

  • Lead techy talks with peers, customers, and suppliers

  • Manage and implement automation projects from A to Z

  • Travel to support project delivery (passport at the ready!)



What we're looking for:



  • 5+ years of automation project experience (food and beverage industry is a plus!)

  • Solid understanding of automation systems and processes

  • Leadership skills to help grow our junior team members

  • Engineering degree (automation/software/mechatronics or electrical)

  • Skills in multiple PLC and HMI platforms

  • Experience with software simulation and commissioning in factory environments
