Job Description

Join the ORBEX Team as an Assistant Procurement Specialist! 🚀



Hey there! Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in the space industry? ORBEX is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Procurement Specialist to join our team in Forres, Scotland. This is a 6-month temporary gig with the potential to become permanent!



What You'll Be Doing:



  • Raising and expediting purchase orders

  • Input vendor and product details into our ERP system (Odoo)

  • Negotiate with vendors and build awesome relationships

  • Support the procurement team with various tasks

  • Collaborate with other teams to understand project requirements

  • Conduct market research to find potential suppliers

  • Monitor delivery schedules and supplier performance

  • Help with cost-saving initiatives



What We're Looking For:



  • Basic knowledge of procurement principles (CIPS Level 2 or similar is a plus!)

  • Some experience in procurement or buying

  • Familiarity with sourcing methodologies

  • Great communication skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
