SOLETANCHE FREYSSINET is on the lookout for a Senior Mechanical Stress Engineer to join our awesome Analysis Team. We've got spots open in both Risley (Warrington) and Milton Park (Abingdon), so take your pick!

What's the gig about? 🤔

You'll be our go-to person for all things stress analysis, using your mad skills in finite element solutions and manual calculations. You'll be supporting design and installation projects for both internal and external clients. Safety is our top priority, and you'll play a crucial role in making sure our designs are top-notch!

What you'll be doing:

• Crunching numbers with FE analysis and hand calculations 🧮


• Leading small teams and mentoring junior engineers


• Creating reports and plans that'll knock everyone's socks off


• Keeping projects on track and within budget


• Checking other engineers' work (no pressure!)

What we're looking for:

• A passion for engineering and problem-solving


• Expertise in FEA calculations and software like ANSYS, CAESAR II, or LS-DYNA


• Knowledge of industry codes and standards


• Excellent communication skills (because talking to clients is part of the job)


• A first or upper second-class degree in a mechanical subject
