Hey there, finance whiz! 👋 Ready for an exciting opportunity at the NATIONAL LIBRARY OF AUSTRALIA? 📚



We're on the hunt for an Assistant Director of Financial Accounting to join our awesome team in Canberra! 🇦🇺



What's the gig? 🤔



  • Lead a small team during a crucial period

  • Manage collection and heritage asset portfolio (how cool is that?! 🏛️)

  • Prepare annual financial statements

  • Work with the Australian National Audit Office

  • Attend important meetings and provide financial insights



What we're looking for: 🕵️‍♀️



  • Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards

  • Solid technical accounting skills

  • Great communication skills (can you explain finance to non-finance folks?)

  • Leadership abilities to motivate your team 💪
