Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of risk management at AUCKLAND COUNCIL? 🏙️ We're on the hunt for a Risk Management Advisor to join our awesome team! 🎉



What's the gig all about? 🤔




  • You'll be the risk guru for our organization, helping departments across the council identify and manage risks 🦸‍♀️

  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of risk registers (sounds fancy, right? 📊)

  • Guide our network of Risk Champions (like superheroes, but for risk management! 🦸‍♂️)

  • Help implement a new ERM system (tech upgrade alert! 💻)



What we're looking for:




  • A degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or something similar 🎓

  • Some experience in risk management, compliance, or auditing (even internships count!) 📈

  • Knowledge of AS/NZ ISO 31000 and MS Office skills (Excel wizardry welcome! 🧙‍♂️)

  • A knack for promoting risk awareness (think risk influencer! 📢)



This is a permanent, full-time gig with a hybrid setup - 3 days in our swanky CBD office, the rest from wherever you feel most productive! 🏠🏢
