What's the deal? 🤔



We're looking for a Legal Assistant to join our awesome team at the Indigenous Justice Centre in Cranbrook, BC. You'll be the backbone of our legal operations, helping our lawyers tackle criminal defense and child protection cases. 📚⚖️



Your day-to-day adventures:




  • Preparing legal documents like a pro 📄

  • Managing client files and keeping everything organized 🗂️

  • Coordinating with witnesses and handling sensitive information 🤐

  • Being the go-to person for all things administrative 💼



What we're looking for:




  • 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal

  • Knowledge of First Nations practices and culture 🏞️

  • Tech-savvy with legal software and MS Office 💻

  • A team player with a passion for justice and community support 🤝
