📋 Quick Summary
You'll be supporting the finance team with general ledger activities, helping prepare management accounts, and making sure all financial data is accurate and reliable. You'll get to work across several areas including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and VAT compliance.
🌟 What You'll Be Doing
- 💰 Helping prepare monthly management accounts — making sure everything is accurate and on time
- 📊 Preparing accruals, prepayments, and overhead analysis
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and posting depreciation journals
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
- Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes
- Managing intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Contributing to finance system improvements and projects 🚀
✅ What They're Looking For
- A degree in Accounting or Finance, or an Accounting Technician / part-qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) background
- At least 4 years of accounting experience (preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems — SAP is a big plus!
- Advanced Excel skills 📈
- Ability to handle a high-volume workload and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in a multi-currency environment is a bonus
