About the Role

This isn't your typical Financial Controller gig. You'll be the first finance leader to sit across the entire group, with a clear mandate to bring structure, visibility, and control to the Director's complete financial picture — both business and personal. The founder has built incredible value but needs someone to help the financial oversight catch up with the growth. 🚀

What You'll Be Doing

• 📊 Owning the consolidated financial position of the entire group at all times
• Managing rolling cash flow forecasts and delivering a weekly cash and debt summary to the Director
• Building and enforcing clear financial controls, including intercompany transfer processes
• Supporting property acquisition evaluations and development feasibility modelling
• Overseeing the bookkeeping team and coordinating with external tax agents
• 🏦 Managing banking relationships and lender communications across multiple accounts

What They're Looking For

• ✅ 7+ years in a senior finance role, ideally across multiple entities
• Hands-on property development finance experience (construction loans, feasibility, cost control)
• Advanced Xero skills across multiple entities
• CPA or CA preferred (though strong experience may be considered)
• 🤝 Someone who thrives working directly with a founder in a fast-moving environment
• Absolute discretion — you'll have full visibility of personal and business finances
