Job Description

Hey there, GIS enthusiast! 🗺️



Are you ready to join an awesome Geospatial team at AMENTUM? We're on the lookout for a stellar GIS Analyst to help us create some map magic! 🌟



What you'll be doing:



  • Diving into geographical data and creating cool GIS applications

  • Crafting eye-catching maps and infographics

  • Collaborating with the team to integrate GIS with other tech

  • Using your analytical superpowers to help make smart decisions

  • Keeping our GIS databases in tip-top shape

  • Staying on top of the latest GIS trends (because who doesn't love new tech?)



What we're looking for:



  • A degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or something similar

  • Experience with GIS analysis and ESRI products

  • Sharp problem-solving skills and an eye for detail

  • A team player who can build great relationships

  • Excellent communication skills (because maps can't explain themselves!)

  • A passion for creating innovative solutions



Bonus points if you have:



  • Programming skills (SQL, Python, JavaScript)

  • Experience with task automation

  • Web application design skills

  • Experience with survey and imagery data

  • Worked in nuclear or defense environments
