The heuchera plant will grow best in a planting site that gets morning sun or partial shade and is good for woodland gardens and shaded patios. Heuchera has beautiful foliage, but in the bloom season has pretty flower stalks standing above the foliage as well. It does well with hostas, ferns, and shade-tolerant plants.
